It was bombed in a wooden house about 1km from the hypocenter of the Hiroshima atomic bomb. A man died about 3 weeks after the bombing due to atomic bombing such as hair loss, fever, and cutaneous hemorrhagic spots. He was a military hibakusha housed in an army-related first aid station.
