The dead bodies of an enormous and worst sacrificial American soldiers were accumulated on the Omaha beach of Normandy.

第2次世界大戦にて連合国は1944年6月6日にナチス・ドイツが侵略下のフランス北西部のノルマンディーから上陸して侵攻した。6月6日のD-デイ後に、オマハ海岸に膨大で最悪の犠牲となったアメリカ軍兵士の戦死した遺体が集積された。周辺市民らが呆然としてイギリスに輸送する死体群を虚しく見守った。
