日中戦争にて、日本軍が上海事変にて上海を占領時から、多数の中国人の婦女子が略奪、暴行、強姦、虐殺された。杭州を占領時の1937年11月には約200名の婦女子、揚州では約60名の婦女子など各地で日本軍は中国人の婦女子を性奴隷としたと告発された。中国人少女が日本軍兵士に略奪から脱衣されて、暴行・強姦の後に、右肋骨から刺殺された。
