A Iraqi militia of a non-government army with citizen was massacred by the US military in 2004 and a corpses were abandoned on the ground.

In the Iraq war, US military mainly invaded Iraq US military from 20 March 2003. On 1 May, the US military declared a victory, but the civil war in Iraq continued thereafter.
