広島原子爆弾の炸裂によって、国民学校の学生が全身に重傷の火傷と放射能を浴びた。特に着衣していなかった頭部から顔面さらに四肢にかけて拘縮して黒化して壊死に陥った。救護所に搬入されるも、十分な手当もできずに、苦悶しながら数日で衰弱して死亡した。
