関東大震災は1923年9月1日の激震で約十万人の市民が犠牲となる。その後の流言とデマにより関東各地で日本人市民の自衛団による朝鮮人市民の虐殺が散見された。日本人版のジェノサイトからホロコーストが示唆された。
