The UN Human Rights Office has announced that nearly 70% of the victims of the damage in the Gaza Strip were women and children.
Around 80% of the victims were killed in their homes or similar buildings, of which 44% were children and 26% were women. The youngest victim whose death was confirmed was a one-day-old baby boy, and the oldest was a 97-year-old woman.
