長崎原子爆弾が1945年8月9日に投下されて、重度の火傷を3歳の女児が被爆した。8月26日に大村海軍病院の三病舎に入院した。すぐに重症で重毒であるとし診断された。右側頭部挫傷と左右の下肢が熱傷した。入院して、火傷部にガーゼー覆うべき処置をした。その後の入院記録もなく、入院直後に死亡したと推察された。終戦後には、大村海軍病院に9月26日に進駐してきたアメリカ兵が病院の被爆者の資料をすべて持ち帰った。 1973年アメリカ陸軍病理学研究所(AFIP)から学術資料や病理組織などが返還された。
