From "Diary of The Death" by Sgt. Bruce F. Anello, the corpse of the Viet Cong killed by him was very cold, wet and bloody.

 The 20-year-old Bruce F. Anello 3rd sergeant sergeant was murdered in Vietnam on May 31, 1968. His diary was picked up on the battlefield and captured by Hanoi. His diary returned to the United States via antiwar activists, and the "National Diet of Death" was announced in the United States by the National Liberation Front.
