朝鮮戦争にて、国連軍も韓国軍も民間人等に対して無差別の虐殺をした。コンクリートなどの構築物を破壊するための油脂状の焼夷弾であるナパーム弾を放射した。ベトナム戦争のように、北朝鮮軍が潜むとして多くの民間人を標的とした。村落などにナパーム弾を投下して、避難民に掃射して、無差別の砲弾によって焼死や銃殺した。第2次世界大戦中にも、連合軍は1945年にドイツと日本の一部に使用したナパーム弾を是認した。ナパーム弾で全身の火傷などの犠牲者となったのは主に婦人と子供の朝鮮民間人たちであった。
