東京大空襲にて1945年3月10日に米軍のB-29から爆弾が市民にも無差別に空爆されて空10万人以上も爆死した大惨事となった。焼夷弾にて全身が燃え尽きて黒焦げになり炭化して路上に焼死した遺体が散在している。
